Can I Use ActBlue?
What types of organizations can be listed on ActBlue?
We can list all federal candidates, as well as PACs and 501(c)(4) nonprofit organizations. If you’re not sure if you qualify, contact us here.
We also list all states (except CT) and some local candidates. Billing for some local and state candidates works a little different. Check out our Pricing page to see if you’ll need a merchant account.
If you’re a candidate, PAC, or 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, the first requirement is that you’re a Democrat or working for progressive causes.
If you’re a 501(c)(3) organization, you’re interested in doing more and better grassroots fundraising, and your organization’s mission doesn’t contradict our values, you can also be listed on our site. Please note ActBlue Charities does not work with organizations that are not located in the United States because our work is focused on how small-dollar donors impact institutions in this country. Groups may use ActBlue Charities at the sole discretion of ActBlue Charities.
Is ActBlue active in X state/locality?
We can help state candidates in every state except Connecticut due to their current laws. Here is the large and growing list of localities where we are active. If your city isn’t listed, let us know and we’ll look into it. We can’t make any promises, but hearing from you will help us figure out how to prioritize our work.
Can you help judicial candidates fundraise?
We are not active in judicial races at this time.
Is it possible to get a draft campaign listed on ActBlue?
I had an ActBlue account in the past and I want to fundraise again, what do I do?
If you need to reactivate an old account or set up a new one please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, making sure to include “reactivate” in the subject line, and we will be back in touch regarding next steps!
