How do I save or update my credit card in my ActBlue Express account?
Donors can save their credit card to their ActBlue Express account so they can give with a single click to their favorite candidates and causes on our platform.
Here’s how to save or update your credit card in your ActBlue Express account:
First, you’ll want to make sure you have an ActBlue Express account. The easiest time to create an account is right after you donate. Just create a password and we’ll save your credit card or PayPal™ information. Otherwise, you can sign up for an ActBlue Express account by going to https://secure.actblue.com/signup!
After you have an ActBlue Express account and are signed in, click on “Account” in the navigation bar on the top of your screen. Choose “Payment Methods” from the dropdown.
On the “Payment Methods” page, click “Add payment method.”
On the “Add Payment Method” page, click “Credit card” to add a new credit card to your ActBlue Express account.
Fill out your card’s information and click save!
If you need to change or update a credit card already saved to your account, you will have to delete the credit card and add it again using the method above.
You can also change your default payment method on the “Payment Methods” page. At the top of the page, click on the dropdown under “Default payment method.” From this dropdown, you can click on the card or PayPal account you would like to be the default payment option when you are donating through ActBlue.
