How do I save or update my credit card in my ActBlue Express account?

Donors can save their credit card and/or PayPal information to their ActBlue Express account so they can give with a single click to their favorite candidates and causes on our platform. 

Here’s how to save your credit card to your ActBlue Express account:

First, you’ll want to make sure you have an ActBlue Express account. The easiest time to create an account is right after you donate. Just create a password and we'll save your credit card or PayPal information. Otherwise, you can sign up for an ActBlue Express account by going to https://secure.actblue.com/signup!

After you have an ActBlue Express account and are signed in, click on the User menu at the top-right corner and click on “ActBlue Express profile.”

Scroll down to “Stored Payment Methods,” where you can add or change your saved payment information. Here’s what your ActBlue Express account will look like if you have not saved your credit card or PayPal information yet:

To save your credit card to your ActBlue Express account, type in your credit card number, expiration date, and the name on the card. Then click the “Add card” button. 

After saving your credit card information, you can add more payment methods by clicking on the “Add a new payment method” button.

And as you save more payment methods, you can assign a primary payment method by clicking the “Make primary” button next to it. When you donate using your ActBlue Express account, your primary payment method will be the one charged!
