Are my donations tax deductible?

Political donations to federal candidates and committees are not deductible from federal income taxes, whether they are made online or in person. Likewise, gifts and contributions to 501(c)(4) social welfare organizations are not deductible as charitable contributions. However, donations to ActBlue Charities and other registered 501(c)(3) organizations are tax deductible.

If you have an ActBlue Express account, we make it easy for you to find your charitable contributions made through our platform. First, visit secure.actblue.com/signin and log in to your account. Once you’re logged in, you will immediately see the “History” page, which lists all of your past contributions chronologically, as well as your active recurring contributions! If a donation was made to a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, you’ll see “Charitable 501(c)(3) contribution” underneath the date and your payment information.

You can also filter your donations, so you can view all of your charitable contributions at once! Click “Filter” and then check “Charitable 501(c)(3)” in the pop-up.

If you still don’t see the donations you’re looking for, you can change the time frame at the top of the page.
